The Tele-Evangelist will serve as a key figure in House of Mercy Christian Assembly’s (HMCA) media ministry, delivering faith-based messages, biblical teachings, and spiritual encouragement through televised and online broadcasts. This individual will play a vital role in spreading the gospel, engaging viewers, and fostering a deeper connection between the church and the wider community.
Primary Responsibilities and Tasks
• Deliver Inspirational Messages
o Preach and teach biblical principles through television and digital platforms.
o Prepare and deliver sermons, devotionals, and scripturally based discussions.
o Engage with audiences to provide spiritual guidance and encouragement.
• Engage in Community and Global Outreach
o Use the television ministry as a tool for evangelism, reaching diverse audiences.
o Share testimonies, real-life experiences, and biblical teachings that resonate with viewers.
o Encourage prayer, salvation, and deeper faith commitments among viewers.
• Collaborate with Production and Ministry Teams
o Work closely with production staff to ensure high-quality TV and online broadcasts.
o Coordinate with scriptwriters, producers, and media teams to develop engaging content.
o Participate in live Q&A sessions, prayer lines, and interactive faith discussions.
• Develop and Present Programme Content
o Host and facilitate faith-based discussions, interviews, and testimonies.
o Contribute to the creation of Christian teaching series, Bible study programmes, and special broadcasts.
o Engage in structured programme planning and ensure alignment with HMCA’s mission and values.
• Support Fundraising and Donor Engagement
o Encourage viewer support and participation in charitable initiatives.
o Assist in fundraising campaigns and sponsorship appeals for HMCA’s outreach programmes.
o Build relationships with donors and partners to enhance the ministry’s reach.
Supporting Responsibilities and Tasks
• Social Media & Digital Engagement
o Collaborate with social media teams to amplify the reach of televised content.
o Participate in live-streamed events, podcasts, and digital evangelism campaigns.
o Respond to viewer inquiries and prayer requests through digital platforms.

o Stay updated with theological developments and contemporary faith-based discussions.
o Engage in personal study, prayer, and mentorship to enhance ministry effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills
• A deep personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a passion for evangelism.
• Proven experience in preaching, teaching, or media ministry.
• Strong biblical knowledge and the ability to communicate scripture effectively.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to engage with diverse audiences and create meaningful spiritual connections.
• Experience in TV, radio, or digital media is an advantage but not essential.
• Understanding of social media and digital platforms for evangelism.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production teams and church leadership.
Work Conditions
