About This Role
The Media Coordinator is responsible for managing the church’s media platforms, creating graphic content, and supporting live streaming during services. This role helps maintain a high level of excellence in coordinating multimedia projects, social media engagement, and digital branding efforts, ensuring that House of Mercy Christian Assembly maintains a consistent and impactful online presence.
Primary Responsibilities and Tasks of the Media Coordinator
- Manage and oversee all church-wide media platforms, including social media accounts and the official website.
- Create and design high-quality visual and graphic content for online and print media.
- Support live streaming and video production during church services, events, and special programs.
- Develop and execute digital media campaigns that align with the church’s mission and vision.
- Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
- Format media content for print, video, and web platforms, utilizing appropriate tools and resources.
- Ensure media projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Maintain and manage digital archives of multimedia content.
- Provide technical support for audio-visual equipment used during services and events.
- Monitor media trends and propose innovative ways to enhance digital engagement.
Strengths & Skillset

- Proficiency in video editing, live streaming, and multimedia production tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a creative team.

- Passion for ministry and using media as a tool to support the church’s mission.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Communications Director and works closely with the Communications and Creative Media teams. It currently does not have staff supervisory responsibilities.
Personal Responsibilities
While not directly related to the job role, every staff member at House of Mercy Christian Assembly is expected to:
- Maintain God-ordained priorities by putting Jesus Christ first, family second, and ministry third.
- Give at least 10% of income toward the mission and vision of House of Mercy Christian Assembly.
- Be loyal to the vision and staff of House of Mercy Christian Assembly and protect the unity of the church.
- Demonstrate a Christ-like attitude in all interactions with the congregation, staff, and volunteers.
- Invite and invest in bringing others to a relationship with Jesus Christ and to House of Mercy Christian Assembly.
Your Schedule
This is a full-time, salaried position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. The expected work schedule includes four days in the office and one day with a flexible working location based on ministry needs.
