Public Relations (PR) Coordinator
Primary Responsibilities and Tasks
Brand and Reputation Management: Overseeing the image and reputation of House of Mercy Christian Assembly (HMCA) by ensuring consistent messaging and positive public perception across all communications.
Media Relations: Building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, drafting press releases, and coordinating interviews or media appearances to promote HMCA’s mission and activities.
Content Creation: Developing engaging content, including newsletters, blog posts, and promotional materials, to communicate HMCA’s vision, events, and community impact effectively.
Social Media Management: Managing HMCA’s social media platforms, creating regular posts, and engaging with online audiences to enhance visibility and foster community interaction.
Event Coordination: Planning and executing events such as community outreach programmes, charity drives, and special services to strengthen HMCA’s presence and attract new members.
Crisis Communications: Handling sensitive issues or crises by preparing statements, managing public responses, and mitigating negative publicity to protect HMCA’s reputation.
Stakeholder Engagement: Building relationships with community organisations, local authorities, and other stakeholders to support HMCA’s outreach goals and collaborative initiatives.
Research and Analysis: Conducting research on public perception, media trends, and community needs to inform PR strategies and ensure alignment with HMCA’s mission.
Media Monitoring: Tracking media coverage and evaluating public sentiment to measure the effectiveness of PR efforts and adjust strategies to support HMCA’s outreach objectives.
