About This Role
The Missions & Community Service Coordinator at House of Mercy Christian Assembly plays a crucial role in coordinating community projects, leading mission trips, and liaising with partner organisations. This position requires a committed and visionary individual who is passionate about serving communities, spreading the gospel, and developing sustainable outreach initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities and Tasks
- Coordinate Community Projects, ensuring alignment with the church’s mission and values.
- Lead Mission Trips, organising logistics, team preparation, and spiritual engagement.
- Liaise with Partner Organisations, fostering strong relationships to enhance outreach efforts.
- Develop and Implement Outreach Strategies, addressing local and international community needs.
- Mobilise Volunteers for community service projects and mission trips.
- Facilitate Training Programmes to equip church members with the necessary skills for outreach and missions.
- Oversee Fundraising Efforts to support mission work and community service initiatives.
- Monitor and Evaluate Impact, ensuring the effectiveness of outreach programmes.
- Encourage Congregational Involvement in missions and community service.
- Collaborate with Church Leadership to integrate missions and community service into the broader ministry.

Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Senior Pastor and works closely with ministry teams and external partners.
Personal Responsibilities
While not directly related to the job role, every staff member at House of Mercy Christian Assembly is expected to:
- Maintain God-ordained priorities by putting Jesus Christ first, family second, and ministry third.
- Give at least 10% of income towards the mission and vision of House of Mercy Christian Assembly.
- Be loyal to the vision and staff of House of Mercy Christian Assembly and protect the unity of the church.
- Demonstrate a Christ-like attitude in all interactions with the congregation, staff, and volunteers.
- Invest and invite others to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and participate in House of Mercy Christian Assembly programmes.
Your Schedule
This is a full-time, salaried position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. The schedule includes weekday project coordination, mission trip planning, Sunday services, and flexibility for outreach events and community service initiatives.
