About This Role
The Administrative Support & Church Coordinator at House of Mercy Christian Assembly is responsible for handling church administrative tasks, managing schedules, and supporting coordination efforts. This position requires a well-organised and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative skills and a passion for supporting the church’s ministry operations.
Primary Responsibilities and Tasks
- Handle Church Administrative Tasks, including record-keeping, correspondence, and office management.
- Manage Schedules and Calendars, coordinating meetings, events, and ministry activities.
- Support Coordination Efforts, ensuring smooth communication between ministries and church leadership.
- Assist with Financial Administration, including budgeting, expense tracking, and donation records.
- Oversee Church Documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
- Facilitate Communication, handling emails, phone calls, and member inquiries.
- Support Event Planning and Execution, working with ministry leaders to organise church functions.
- Maintain Church Membership Records, keeping contact details and pastoral care notes up to date.
- Assist in Volunteer Coordination, ensuring schedules are maintained and volunteers are well supported.
- Provide General Office Support, ensuring all administrative needs of the church are met efficiently.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and church management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities effectively.
- Experience in financial administration and budget tracking.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership, staff, and volunteers.
- Knowledge of church operations and ministry coordination is an advantage.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Senior Pastor and collaborates with ministry leaders and administrative staff.

Your Schedule
This is a full-time, salaried position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. The schedule includes weekday office hours, Sunday services, and flexibility for special events and ministry needs.
