About This Role
The Discipleship & Training Coordinator at House of Mercy Christian Assembly plays a key role in developing training materials, leading discipleship classes, and mentoring new members. This position requires a spiritually mature individual who is passionate about equipping believers with biblical knowledge and fostering their spiritual growth.
Primary Responsibilities and Tasks
- Develop and Implement Training Materials for discipleship programmes, ensuring they align with biblical teachings and church doctrine.
- Lead Discipleship Classes, providing structured teaching to help new and existing members grow in their faith.
- Mentor New Members, guiding them through their spiritual journey and helping them integrate into church life.
- Coordinate Bible Study Groups and facilitate discussions that encourage deeper biblical understanding.
- Work Closely with Ministry Leaders to ensure discipleship efforts support the overall mission of the church.
- Train and Equip Volunteers who assist in discipleship and training programmes.
- Organise Workshops and Conferences focused on Christian growth and leadership development.
- Provide One-on-One Discipleship Support, offering personal guidance to those seeking spiritual growth.
- Evaluate and Enhance Discipleship Programmes to ensure effectiveness and engagement.
- Encourage Participation in Church Activities to help members deepen their faith and connection with the congregation.
Strengths & Skillset
- Strong teaching, mentoring, and leadership abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of biblical teachings and Christian doctrine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in curriculum development and training facilitation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership and ministry teams.
- Passion for discipleship and Christian education.
- Organisational skills to manage multiple programmes effectively.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the Senior Pastor and collaborates with church leaders and ministry teams.
Personal Responsibilities
While not directly related to the job role, every staff member at House of Mercy Christian Assembly is expected to:

- Give at least 10% of income toward the mission and vision of House of Mercy Christian Assembly.

Your Schedule
This is a full-time, salaried position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. The schedule includes weekday planning, discipleship classes, Sunday services, and flexibility for special events and ministry needs.
