school of leadership

Every person who accepts Christ is called to influence others. Leadership is not just for a selected few. Christians in every generation are called to serve and lead in every area of life. Imitating Jesus Christ is the goal of each believer. The methods that Jesus used to train and equip His followers two thousand years ago are still the ones that are effective for the twenty first Century Christian Church. The challenges that Jesus faced in training his original twelve disciples are very similar to the challenges Christian leaders face today. This is why our ministry training and bible school help leaders of tomorrow learn, grow, and teach through prayer for clear minds and clear hearts.
Then God said,
“Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground,” Genesis 1:26- 28
On every secret place in the hearts of men and on those whose lives were torn, the healing ray of God’s love focused. His presence craved and common people heard him gladly. A prostitute washed his feet with her tears and friends lowered a paralytic through a roof just to be near him.
He told those who had faith that it had made them whole and that there was none good but God. He taught the Service of man, about the heavenly kingdom, righteousness, the peace of God, and eternal life as well as simple friendship with God. We too, as leaders, are called to share this same message.
“Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent? Who may live on your holy mountain? The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart,” Psalm 15:1 and 2
accept god’s seeds of faith
We need to appreciate the continuous fostering of our spiritual growth by God’s standards. We are experiencing the inner peace which passes understanding and we assure ourselves of God’s unconditional love for us.
The ability to act effectively or decisively is disturbed when we burden our minds with fear and guilt. Once we bring our soul to a state where it is in harmony with God, there is little that can stop us from growing. We have support from God, problems disappear, and our minds become clear for effective action once this happens.
Assurance of God’s unconditional love has always been available for us. God offers us spiritual seeds of faith just like a farmer casting seed corns and He fills our unreceptive minds with love in the hope that at least some will develop roots.
God knows well the time to fertilize and water us to make the most of this process as He knows our seasons and times. We increasingly experience comfort and assurance that shows that at least a few of the seeds have started to develop roots. We feel bereft and deprived when spiritual peace seems temporarily beyond our reach but recognize it completely when we have it.
At the House of Mercy Christian Assembly Church School of Leadership, we help people to connect to God through acceptance of Jesus Christ. Our School of Leadership also helps them to find their potential in Christ and their purpose in God as well as develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviors needed to excel in life and achieve what God’s destined for them.
