Okay, this one sounds when a scam. Even the make known screams 2012 clickbait. But trust meReelSnatch benefit is lowkey amazing.
I found it in some technical Reddit thread (buried following 7 explanation deep below an ad for crypto). Its not upon the App Store, but their site walks you through a workaround. Sketchy? A little. But it works.
Pros:

No watermarks.

Saves in HD. Legit 1080p+.

Audio stays in sync (youd be surprised how scarce that is).

Cons:

Annoying setup.

Sometimes fails silently, gone it acts with it saved but nada.

Interface looks taking into account Windows XP met a MySpace theme.

Still… its my go-to. I even have a shortcut widget.

Why doesnt Instagram just allow us do this? I mean, TikTok lets you save in the same way as audio (sorta), but IG acts taking into account Reels are nuclear establishment codes. Wild.

Real Talk: Should You Even Be enactment This?
Ugh. Im torn. upon one hand, I acquire it. We want to keep that reel. ham it up it to friends. Watch offline. most likely meme it later.
But creators deserve credit. thus here’s my rule: I abandoned download Reels if Im using them personally. Never reposting. Never monetizing. Just hoarding, tbh.
Also, if a Reel has 10K+ likes, itll probably stir forever. But that little bay one similar to 34 likes? Might disappear next-door week. therefore yeah. Sometimes you gotta save.

Weird trick I found. You paste the Reel URL into IGReelTXT, and it spits out a .txt file subsequently the audio link, thumbnail URL, and a hidden MP4 file link. Its later IGs debug data or something.
