<h1>About This Role</h1>
<p>The College Pastor is responsible for ensuring all aspects of spiritual growth and development of college-aged students who attend House of Mercy Christian Assembly. This includes leadership for all programming, teaching, events, and management in support of the overall vision, mission, and purpose of the church. The College Pastor also expands the reach of our college ministry by creating new initiatives, in new places, to reach new students for Christ.</p>
<h1>Primary Responsibilities and Tasks of the College Pastor</h1>
<ol>
<li>Plan and execute biblically accurate and culturally relevant</li>
<li>Create a calendar that will encompass all of the programming needs of the college ministry to fulfill all spiritual development and outreach goals.</li>
<li>Have a weekly presence on college campuses surrounding House of Mercy Christian Assembly</li>
<li>Create a strategic plan to reach out to, engage, and collaborate with each college</li>
<li>Recruit, develop and empower student and adult leaders to lead campus</li>
<li>Develop a student leadership team that creates opportunities for college-aged individuals to learn about Jesus, build community, and live out their</li>
<li>Collaborate with student leaders to develop and implement a plan for relational evangelism on college</li>
<li>Lead a weekly large group gathering and serve as the primary</li>
<li>Meet with student leaders on a regular basis to provide guidance and</li>
<li>Create opportunities for students to grow and serve experientially through local and international mission trips, community service projects, etc.</li>
<li>Build bridges between college life and the overall life of House of Mercy Christian Assembly, creating a pipeline of young leaders who can step into</li>
</ol>

<p><strong> </strong>This position reports to the Senior Pastor.</p>
<p>This position relates to other pastoral staff of House of Mercy Christian Assembly and oversees all student and staff campus ministry leaders.</p>

<p><strong> </strong>While not  specifically  related  to  the  job,  here  are  some  personal  responsibilities  of  everyone  on  staff  at House of Mercy Christian Assembly.</p>
<p>Maintain God-ordained priorities in your life by putting Jesus Christ first, your spouse second, your children third and the ministry fourth.</p>
<p>Give at least 10% of your income toward the mission and vision of House of Mercy Christian Assembly.</p>
<p>Be loyal to the vision and staff of House of Mercy Christian Assembly and always protect the unity of the church. Demonstrate a Christ-like attitude through all interactions with congregation, staff, and volunteers. Invest and invite the lost to know Jesus and come to House of Mercy Christian Assembly.</p>
<h1>Your Schedule</h1>
<p>This is a full-time, salaried position around 45 hours a week, with four days spent in the office and one day of flexible working location. You may travel 15-25 nights a year for retreats, conferences, and other campus ministry events</p>
